Mac matchmaster foundation 1.5 review skin#
I definitely moisturize my skin before using it. This foundation is neither moisturizing nor drying. It comes in a pump glass bottle, which is excellent.Although I’d say not great for travel.

The days are getting hotter now and I have worn it many times all day long but it stays put. PLEASE READ.Ive added extra information in the annotations in this video too, so turn those on.I thought this video on MAC Matchmaster Foundation might help. But it really does not move, nor does it settle in the fine lines, nor does it look cakey and neither does it make my face shiny. It stays on all day long but those will oily skin might have to touch up their face during the day.It does not oxidize on me but I always wear a primer underneath.Just not a fan of a super matte finishes. I personally like dewy finish foundations but I am okay with this kind of finish as well. The color I have is neither too yellow nor too pink. I love the colors available in the range. You can build it up to a very good coverage and it is able to cover a lot of blemishes. The coverage I’d say is medium to buildable. Those with oily skin types should definitely give this a shot.
I've been a lover of MAC foundations for years now, and although I have found others that I like a lot, I always find myself coming back to MAC for my base. I'd been dying to get my hands on this foundation all summer, so when I finally had a moment to spare I hotfooted it to the MAC counter in Plymouth. It is a water based foundation so would work on all skin types. REVIEW: MAC Matchmaster Foundation SPF15.It does adapt to your skin a bit and evens out your skin nicely. It gives invisible coverage to the skin and that makes it great for day time use as well. Matchmaster is a lighter formula as opposed to Studio fixs more 'thikining' mix. Where-as Studio Fix is a foundation designed for Photo shoots, television, or things that require heavy set makeup. It is an excellent natural looking foundation. however, Matchmaster is much better for use of a daily basis.According to the description of the matchmaster foundation on the MAC website, this foundation contains "translucent pigments that enable a fully personalized finish influenced by your own skin's undertone".Likes and Dislikes about MAC Matchmaster foundation: From this experience, I assume that one needs to let the foundation set for a few minutes, to ensure that it matches your own skin tone. I guess the name "matchmaster" says it all-it works to match your skin tone. I don't know how, but somehow the foundation just blended into my skin to match my skin tone. I let the foundation set for a bit, and between the 5-10 minutes after I had applied the foundation, I looked in the mirror again, and the match was perfect! My face did not seem darker anymore. I have and oily t-zone but it wasnt as oily as it usually gets. I thought I had picked the wrong shade for myself, and I was going to have to go back to the MAC store to see if shade 1.5-which is the next shade down, was actually the better match for my skin. This foundation is GORGEOUS I got my make-up done at MAC and asked for something that would take away the shine from my forehead and the MUA suggested Matchmaster, I wore it from about 6 pm to about 3am and I was truly surprised at how my skin looked after dinner and dancing. In comparison to their Studio Fix Fluid (which is 19.50), the Matchmaster costs more because you get 35ml worth of product and Studio Fix Fluid has only 30ml of product. You can imagine my disappointment right then and there. This foundation is 24.50 and costs more than most MAC foundations. oz. The foundation definitely appeared a little darker. OK, when it comes to the color-match.I found it pretty interesting.
